Les photos que vous découvrirez ont été prises en Alsace et pratiquement toutes, à quelques exceptions prêt,
lors des festivals de Molsheim. Ce sont avant tout les photos d’un passionné que j’étais et que je suis toujours
et qui ne se souciait pas de reportage et photographiait pour son propre plaisir et pour réaliser
ses propres expériences. Plus que de représenter les voitures, je cherchais à retenir l’instant, l’ impression, l’émotion ressentie à leur passage. J’ai donc effectué la grande majorité des prises de vues sur la route en pleine action en photographiant autant la voiture que le mouvement, en donnant selon les circonstances du moment et l’effet recherché, la priorité à l’un ou à l’autre jusqu’à la limite du possible, tiraillé entre représentation fidèle et rêve automobile. Vous constaterez que la première photo date de 1970, début de mes expériences photographiques, j’ai quelques photos du centenaire dont celle de la page d’accueil, et les autres s’échelonnent de 1988 à maintenant. J’ai intégré les EBA ( Enthousiastes Bugatti Alsace ) il y a deux ans, et exerce en qualité d’auteur photographe. En plus du classement par date de prise de vue vous trouverez un album Galerie BUGATTI où j’ai souhaité réunir quelques photos des plus représentatives de ma démarche, ou tout simplement une voiture qui a particulièrement retenu mon attention. Mais ces choix sont souvent subjectifs et la liste certainement incomplète ; certaines de ces photos figurent déjà dans les autres albums. The photographs you will discover have been taken in Alsace, and almost all, with a few exceptions,
have been taken during the festival of Molsheim. These photographs are, first of all, the work of a photographs’ fanatic
I have been and I’m still, who doesn’t take care about photo-reportage and who takes photographs for his own pleasure
and to realise his own experiences. Rather than only representing cars, I wanted to capture the moment, the impression, the emotion felt during their passage. That’s why I have taken the most of my shootings on the road, as the car s were passing by, catching together the car but also the movement and, depending on the circumstances and the visual effects I was looking for, I have tried to give the priority to one or the other up to the possible limit, torn between the accurate representation and the « car dream ». As you can see , the first photograph is dated from 1970, the beginning of my photographic experiences; I have also some photographs of the centenary included the photograph of the welcoming page and the others are spread out from 1988 to now. I have joined the EBA ( Enthusiasts Bugatti Alsace ) 2 years ago, and I’m author-photograph. In addition to the chronological order of my photographs book, you will find an album Galerie BUGATTI where I have put together the most representative pictures of my approach, or simply a car which has particularly caught my attention. But these choices are often subjective and the list is certainly not complete; you can also find some photographs in the other albums.
